New to Yoga – 5-week course for March

img_9407_edited-1.jpgThe New to Yoga course will build on the basics of yoga – without the pressure of learning alongside people who have been practising for years! Suitable for complete beginners or those who enjoy a slow, gentle approach.

You have probably heard of the many benefits of yoga – improving flexibility, learning to relax, building strength and feeling better in our bodies and ourselves.  But some of us are put off from joining a class alongside lycra-clad beauties performing amazing physical feats.

This Saturday morning class at my home studio in Streatham Hill every Saturday in March will offer a warm welome to all who feel like yoga newbies – whatever your age, size or level of (un)fitness!

Whatever your motivation, the course will introduce you to the core elements of a rounded yoga practice and give you a glimpse of the physical and mental health benefits a regular yoga practice can bring.

  • 5-weeks of instruction from an experienced teacher
  • a safe environment – welcoming to all
  • a small group – maximum 8 students
  • introduction to core elements: postures, breath and meditation
  • free CD to practise with at home
  • all mats and other equipment provided
